Josh Sternberg for Current - The number of homeless children in the United States is at its highest levels in the nation’s history, according to a study released last week from the National Center on Family Homelessness. 1 out of every 45 children is homeless. That’s a staggering number; a majority of them are under 7.

WatchAs many of you know, I have an 8y/o in the Cub Scouts. And every year the boys go door-to-door selling popcorn to raise money for the Pack. I make it a point that Jay do all the selling as opposed to me doing the work for him. So we hoof it door-to-door and he does his spiel and I take the orders. I also take him to the office too -but same deal -he has to sell it.
